Paris is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world -the architecture, the fashion, the culture, cuisine, sidewalk cafes, and of course- the Parisians. It is also filled with an array of gorgeous and unique hotels- legendary hotels like The Plaza Athenee, The Ritz Carlton, George V, etc. The Hotel St. James is another stunning hotel with a crazy chic state of mind! The Saint James was recently renovated by the dream-maker interior designer Bambi Sloan, and it is dizzyingly gorgeous!!
It is a country-style château, surrounded by a wall and garden, which is rare in Paris. This house is over a century old, and has history to spare, but the redesign isn’t entirely a nostalgia trip. The interiors are an homage to the 19th century, not a reconstruction — antique elements combine in whimsical juxtapositions, and a contemporary logic underlies these classically styled spaces. Best of all, many of these bedrooms are given country-house space to work with, despite their city location, the suites, particularly, spreading out quite comfortably.
It is posh, chic, colorful, and fabulous!
The mix of fabrics and colors is exquisite- mixing turquoise silk with burgundy velvet and leopard....
