Pantone has announced the 2013 color of the year: Emerald Green. This hue represents 2013 because the color reminds us of nature, grass and Mother Nature. 2012 is the year of "Tangerine Tango," according to the Pantone Color Institute.  The institute forecasts the most popular color each year by pondering factors such as news events, pop culture, designer shows and consumer trends, according to the Associated Press.
