Waldorf Astoria Panama City

WALDORF ASTORIA is Hilton Worldwide’s luxury brand of landmark hotels, with each one as singular and timeless as the brand’s namesake, The Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York. We were very excited to have the opportunity to visit the newly opened Waldorf Astoria in Panama City, Panama. This is the first Waldrof Astoria to open in all of Latin America and it has a beautiful balance of classic elegance and modern grandeur. Located in the trendy Calle Uruguay section in the heart of Restaurant Row, Waldorf Astoria Panama features 248 guest rooms and luxury residences. The hotel displays exquisite elegance and has been tastefully designed creating a trendy Latin American ambiance. We just adore all the gold mosaic inlays combined with the white.

Love the Bauhaus style seating and onyx marble slab floors. How awesome is the cut out coffee table!

Contemporary and future forward aesthetics make way for these beautiful sputnik chandeliers!

These Art Deco chairs give the room such pop and structure!

Love the beautiful table from Worlds Away! Just purchased it in white for my clients residence!

I love how these white columns replicate the weaving of a traditional Panama hat!

Hotels We Love: Villa d'Este

L.A. has been rainy and cold for the past few days, so I've been dreaming of getting away to Lake Como and staying at this five-star luxury gem of a hotel- The Villa d'Este.

Hotels We Love: St. Regis Punta Mita

One of my favorite things to do is travel and take in all the amazing cultures of all the various places. Half the pleasure of your stay is the in room amenities, hotel offerings, and aesthetically pleasing accommodations. One of our top recommendations is the St. Regis Resort in Punta Mita, Mexico. We all know the luxury and grace of the St. Regis collection, operated by Starwood Hotels. But one of the most differentiating qualities of this one in particular is the famous hidden beach off the hotel grounds. Here are some amazing photos of the St. Regis Punta Mita.

Hotels we Love: Hotel de la Syrene

One night a while back I was wandering the streets of Sorrento, Italy when I stumbled upon this hotel. The entrance gate was surreal and the lighting in the garden, a combination of moonlight reflecting from the ocean and candlelight, was truly magical. I snapped some photos and made sure to capture the entrance so I could remember the hotel and hopefully return one day. I was reminiscing about the trip and figured I learn a little about the hotel that took my breath away. The Bellevue Syrene was a villa in the for summer vacations, and it was only in 1820 that a cozy hotel of about 30 spacious and comfortable rooms was created, within an oasis of peace and outstanding natural beauty. The energy of this hotel which sits on the edge of the Amalfi Cost is surreal!

Luxury Hotels We Love: Hotel St. James Paris

Paris is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world -the architecture, the fashion, the culture, cuisine, sidewalk cafes, and of course- the Parisians.  It is also filled with an array of gorgeous and unique hotels- legendary hotels like The Plaza Athenee, The Ritz Carlton, George V, etc. The Hotel St. James is another stunning hotel with a crazy chic state of mind! The Saint James was recently renovated by the dream-maker interior designer Bambi Sloan, and it is dizzyingly gorgeous!!

It is a country-style château, surrounded by a wall and garden, which is rare in Paris.  This house is over a century old, and has history to spare, but the redesign isn’t entirely a nostalgia trip. The interiors are an homage to the 19th century, not a reconstruction — antique elements combine in whimsical juxtapositions, and a contemporary logic underlies these classically styled spaces. Best of all, many of these bedrooms are given country-house space to work with, despite their city location, the suites, particularly, spreading out quite comfortably.

It is posh, chic, colorful, and fabulous!

The mix of fabrics and colors is exquisite- mixing turquoise silk with burgundy velvet and leopard....
