The Legendary Style of Jackie Onassis Kennedy

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is a woman who defines the true meaning of timeless style. Her grace and elegance has transcended time, forever marking her name as a fashion legend. She could wear white pants and a black t-shirt and walk the streets of Greece looking incredible.  Jackie O. embraced fashion in a way like no other First Lady before.

Jackie O’s style consisted of very simplistic, clean and classic pieces which included: Tailored skirt suits, black turtlenecks (never tucked in), white pants, A-line dresses, full length gowns with a modest fit, elbow length white gloves, trench coats, pillbox hats and oversized glasses. Jackie is well known for wearing a 3-strand pearl necklace.

She wore designers such as Oleg Cassini, Coco Chanel, Valentino, and Givenchy. But ultimately Jackie O's style was based more on the way she carried herself- her presence, her grace, her demeanor, and the way she moved than what she wore. She was a true style icon!
