Pantone Color of The Year: Radiant Orchid

Pantone has just announced the color of the year for 2014 and we love it! Radiant orchid! Here are some beautiful rooms to be inspired! 

Bathroom Vanity Shopping

Currently, I'm working on a project in LA that is a total remodel. I love renovations. Getting to give the house a makeover is the best part of the job. At Snyder Diamond I came across two incredibly beautiful vanity sets. The first one, a rich vein cut grey marble with chrome accents is the perfect modern accent.

 

 

You can see the rich streaks in the cut of the marble and it's been carved into a bowl. It's so chic.

I also fell in love with this beauty by Kalista. It's perfectly transitional and can go in a traditional space or a contemporary one. It was designed by Michael Smith.

Room Of The Day

Elle Decor did a beautiful spread on of the more recent projects by Kelly Wearstler. We love every piece of it. The colored tiger print sofa, black and gold coffee table, and beautiful accessories all make for a beautiful composition. But, the most amazing party of the room is the pyramid paneled walls. Wood work at its finest, those walls are a piece of art all on their own.

People we Love: Josh Radnor

You probably know him as Ted Mosby, the lovable friend on "How I Met your Mother" but there is a lot more to know about  the 39 year old actor from Columbus Ohio. One of our favorite, Josh is not only handsome but also a very talented actor, writer and director. We not only love his work but also his style.

What an incredible pop up in Doha, Qatar! This collaboration between Prada, Damien Hirst, and Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, chairperson of the Qatar Museums Authority is incredible. The “Prada Oasis and Damien Hirst’s Pharmacy Juice Bar” is a collaboration to benefit the non-profit organization Reach Out to Asia.
