A True Beverly Hills Fashion Gem: Adrian

Greta Garbo, Norma Shearer, Jeanette McDonald, Jean Harlow, Katherine Hepburn, and Joan Crawford were some of the many stars that would shop at ADRIAN, a Hollywood Regency designed boutique in Beverly Hills. Adrian Adolph Greenberg, known famously as just Adrian, was a legendary gown and costume designer whose most iconic designs were Judy Garland's ensemble in the Wizard of Oz. Our personal favorite were his sequins red shoes worn in the movie. This spectacular boutique was once located at 233 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills, and is now a 25 story office building.
